Standard Barcode Label Maker
Standard Barcode Label Maker is a program designed to design and create labels that can be used for printing. The program can be used on Windows computers. It can print different types of labels and can also be used for printing documents and forms. It is able to work in tandem with Microsoft Word and Excel, which means that it can make complex labels that may include multiple contents. These labels can then be pasted up on products or printed forms, invoices and purchase orders.
The most important thing to remember when designing and creating barcode labels is that the labels need to be readable. There are many factors that can affect a barcode scanner's ability to read the label, including damage, distortion and excessive light. To help ensure that the barcode is readable, it's best to use a high-performance printer and compatible materials. Using a Brady printer system makes this even easier, because the printer and ribbon actually "talk to each other" and automatically optimize print settings based on the materials and application.
To begin printing your barcode labels, log into your online Square Dashboard and select Items & Orders > Item Library. From there, click the Actions drop-down menu and select Print labels. In the Create Labels screen, choose a location, barcode format and label details to print. If you'd like, you can also choose to include or exclude item variations that don't have a unique SKU assigned. Once you're ready to print, click Print labels Now or Download PDF. By downloading the file, you're able to revisit it later or send it to another computer.
